When your world is bleak And the storm undying, When your legs feel weak And your soul is crying, Your eyes blind with dark When designed for the light, Becoming the mark of the losing fight. The pessimism at play: The false harbinger of unfortune Preys on your decay, All the while feeding you poison. The harbinger, It growls in your brain “Your fortune is ill, You’re destined for pain.” And the clock of your life stands still This timepiece wants Needs to tick, to tock to continue the neverending walk So Change your eyes Regain your sight Purge It, it that lies, Beware that victory will not be found overnight I must admit, your pain will remain The violent rain may still be untame But because you freed yourself from the shackles of self-deprecation You ensure yourself a process of self-actualization Your clock will tick, tock You will continue your journey, continue to walk And when another storm comes to challenge you from over the crest You will weather it nicely while you are at your best
